Description
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Use the honeycomb shaped number board to work on math skills.
For younger children: Work on number and color identification. Have your child find the number “3”. Then have your child find a “red” number “3”. Do this for all the different numbers 1 through 6 and colors until they can do them easily. Next, try having your child start adding two numbers on the board together. Use small numbers at first, working up to larger numbers as they improve.
There are numerous shapes in the box that can be used to assist the child in adding numbers together. (For instance, one plus two – take one shape and then two shapes – have your child count them to get the answer).
For older children: You can use the honeycomb board to have your child add multiple numbers together to make the problem more difficult or, have them multiply numbers.
